6 sack mix

Years ago when concrete was mixed by hand, one yard of concrete contained (6) 94lb bags of Portland cement.  Today Portland cement is added at ready-mixed plants by computers but the ratio is still the same.  A 6 ½ sack mix contains 6 ½ 94lb bags of Portland cement the more Portland, the stronger the cement.
